Balloon balls are such a funky idea! Simply blow a balloon up inside the cover, tie it off and then play inside, outside, anywhere without scarey balloon pops. Heaps of fun for all ages!
A balloon ball is a bright cotton cover of six panels, which fits a balloon inside. A ball for anywhere - easy for travel as it takes up as much room as a handkerchief, and is easy to inflate with a bit of puff. We tried for a long time to come up with a more original and exciting name...but balloon balls just says it all - exactly what they are. Take one balloon, pop it in the fabric "sack", blow it up, tie a knot, and WOW you've got a BALL!
Kick 'em, throw 'em, and you can even bounce them! They're awesome for indoor play on a rainy day, and if the cover gets grubby - just throw it in the washing machine! They're the ideal toy/ball for kids living in an apartment or small space, or for kicking around on the patio or balcony. For kids who are frightened of balloons popping in their face - no problem with the balloon ball!
They've been designed in conjunction with a physiotherapist, so there are so many more reasons for having a collection of balloon balls in your house - gross motor skills (* see below), kicking, batting, throwing, bouncing (yes, who would've thought you could BOUNCE a balloon!) When the balloon deflates, just put in another one! play with them over and over again... the perfect gift for the kid who has everything - you can be sure they wouldn't have a balloon ball (or 2 or 3 or 4!)
Balloon balls are more durable than regular balloons and can be blown up and deflated many times. They fit a standard size balloon which you can buy from any toy or stationery shop or supermarket, however the helium quality balloons are the best - they'll ensure your balloon ball lasts up to a month with just the one balloon.
They're ideal for children aged a few months to 100 years. Honestly - they're aan amazing toy for any age. With the babies, don't blow it up to its capacity, keep a bit of slack so they can grip onto the fabric and hold it or bite it (it won't pop!) andwhen they get a little older and want to roll and crawl, blow it up, roll it around and watch your baby try and move towards it. The brightly coloured spots ensure your baby loves it! For the older kids, blow them to their full capacity, and watch your kids have loads of fun kicking and throwing and bouncing until they're worn out!
* Gross motor skills are BIG/LARGE movements involving the arms, legs, feet muscles or the entire body -- movements such as crawling, running, catching a ball and jumping are all gross motor skills.
